About Us

Coronavirus Safety

Patient Update - 6th June 2021

We are deemed as an essential medical service and we are pleased to say we will remain open even if future lockdowns are instigated. We are regularly seeing our registered private and Denplan patients and we are also able to see and treat new patients. We are able to offer the full range of dental treatments which unfortunately are not widely available at all dental practices at the moment.

We have invested heavily in the practice to ensure both ourselves and you are as safe as possible, and we have made huge changes to our working practices to be able to provide treatment safely. Denplan recently chose to write a national article about Ravenshead Dental Practice in recognition of how we have gone above and beyond with our coronavirus safety standards. Fortunately our team has years of experience working to the highest standards of cross infection control too, and we now have additional staff members to assist in maintaining our high standards of patient care, communication and cleanliness.

Please click on the links below for more information on some of our new coronavirus procedures and protocols:

Covid Appointment Booking Information

  • Patient information on how the appointment book is organised, our diary management, changes to payment methods, and patient risk groups.
  • Covid Patient Protocols when Attending Appointments

  • Patient information on what to expect before, during and after your appointment.
  • Covid Safety Measures Introduced

  • Information on the very significant changes we have made to the practice and the way we work to ensure your safety.

  • If we do not have a current email address for you, please update us. In order to decrease viral spread we are becoming completely paperless and can send you medical history forms, appointment details, treatment plans and receipts by email. If we do not have a mobile phone number for you - again this would be very helpful to add to our records. Whenever possible we are also taking payments over the phone, again to decrease cross-infection risks and avoid patients touching extra surfaces and keypads when they attend.

We look forward to seeing you again soon. Please keep checking our website for further updates.
